2022 Kinetic Theory of Stellar Systems

This 9-lecture course forms the third part of the series Kinetic Theory in the University of Oxford’s Master Course in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics (MMathPhys). I will be lecturing the course in Oxford in November 2022. As a warm-up, I will also be delivering the same course at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton in October 2022.

IAS lectures will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for three weeks, beginning on Monday 17th October and ending on Friday 4th November. Lectures will take place in Wolfensohn Hall* at 2pm, followed by tea in Fuld Hall at 3pm for those who wish to join. (*Except for 28 October, which will be in Bloomberg Hall).

Oxford lectures will be held in the Lindemann Lecture Theatre in Weeks 7 and 8 of Michaelmas term, on Mondays from 10am-11.30am & 3pm-5pm, and Tuesdays 12pm-1pm.
